Borderline Comment:

All 3 cylinders first played at the club on 27th September 2001 and provided an appreciative audience with a great night. They left the crowd wanting more and it'll be great to have them back with us, although you could travel to venues in Manchester and across the North West to see them.

Biography:

All 3 Cylinders is an exciting blues/rock band from Manchester .

They've been playing together for 3 years and have built up a very strong reputation. Each of the musicians has a depth of experience in their own right, coupled with a common aim of presenting gutsy and soulful sounds.

The band is fronted by John Doyle (the youngster in the band), a very well respected guitarist who's music and guitar technique is inspired by the likes of Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Satriani. John has played on UK tours with Dave Sharp (ex-Alarm) and the Hard Travellers and several other bands. He is also a strong vocalist who has has produced his own music on CD.

Paul Fieldhouse on drums, has been a professional musician for over 30 years, and is a familiar face on the UK blues circuit. Paul has played on tour with Martha Reeves, toured for 18 years with  "Silhouette" who had 7 singles to their credit and was the first British rock drummer to play behind the Iron Curtain.

Mike Edwards provides a powerful and rhythmic bass line with occasional vocal support, and has played jazz, rock, country and folk music across the UK & USA for more than 20 years.

Together they form a dynamic and spirited band, presenting diverse covers ranging from BB King to Van Morrison, from Hendrix to Paul Simon, as well as their own original material.
