Borderline Comment: The first time we saw Eddy's band was on New Year's Eve 2002. We booked them on a recommendation from Alan Butler at real-music.co.uk and spent a very enjoyable night in their company. It's never too soon to get these guys back.
Biography: Dawn
Sandells (vocals) is only 23 years old, a young lady with a voice
like Etta James and Tina Turner . . . . dragged from the Welsh
hills to help
take the band to World dominance . . . the girl loves to look groovy
and will sing her way into blues history! Rob Venables (harmonica) check him out on regular T.V. adverts and program themes . . . master harmonica player . . . . . . why does he carry so many harps around??? . . . . . . nice boots, great gardener . . . Welshman. L.J. Hamilton (bass) was born on Dublin's South Side and moved to Essex. Started playing bass in the mid seventies. First band The Jukes. Went on to play in The Screaming Abdabs, featuring (ALF) Alison Moyet. In 1992 moved to Mid Wales to form a blues band with Eddie Gartry and Gyppie Mayo (ex Dr Feelgood). Went on to do a stint with Tony McPhees Groundhogs. Fitness FANATIC!!???? Martin Donelly (keyboards) was born in West London and moved to Wales for the country life . . . . Loves the Hammond sound and Brian Auger, digs computers, cooking, sailing and landrovers . . . look out for the Boogie-Woogie when the going gets hot! Paul 'ANIMAL' Recchia (drums) is possibly the most outrageous drummer since Keith Moon!! Born in York . . World-Wide experience . . . Radio, T.V and Album appearances . . Ridiculously brilliant! . . Drum solos to scare 'Bonham' at the drop of a hat! Classified 'insane' long ago! |
