| Borderline Comment: Smoke
Like A Fish is a 7-piece band from When I was told about them I asked “What sort of music do they play?“, "Ska" I was told and as I’ve liked Ska/Bluebeat since I first heard Prince Buster's “The Ten Commandments” in the mid-sixties it didn't take me long to get them booked. However, I wasn’t sure how well they would go down at a Blues Club, but when I heard their first album "Kippertronix" I knew that they'd set the audience alight. Their music will always go down an absolute storm at any venue. On the night of their first Borderline gig some of the regulars questioned the choice of musical style, but by the time they left they were raving about the band, the music and the fact that they’d had a great time. People who hadn’t danced in years were up there giving it all they’ve got. By the next morning there were a lot of people with sore legs begging me to get them back as soon as possible.
